Freelancers and small businesses spend hours navigating accounting software to create invoices, check outstanding payments and manage their administration. The interface is complex, repetitive and takes time away from actual work — especially for non-financial users who just want to send an invoice and move on.

Built an AI chatbot that connects directly to Moneybird's accounting platform via MCP (Model Context Protocol). Users can simply type 'create an invoice for Client X for 3 hours of consulting' and the bot handles the rest — creating the invoice, populating the correct client details and sending it. The MCP connection gives the chatbot full access to contacts, invoices, products and financial data, enabling commands like checking open invoices, viewing outstanding payments and managing tasks through conversation.
